four score and seven years ago...

...I mean, wait. Four years ago, my very best friend in the entire world got to marry her best friend in the entire world. How rad it that? I've been taking a lengthy, day-dreaming trip down memory lane for the last several minutes, recalling the precious and memory-making weeks leading up to the big day - bachelorette celebrating in Napa, last minute wedding planning at the condo, apple shining and bouquet making in various hotel rooms, dress fitting and most importantly, best friend marrying.

They've been quite busy in the four years since they said "I do" - continued success in science and curing the world of various diseases, moving to the Midwest, buying their first home, and bringing a beautifully perfect little lady into this world.

I couldn't be happier to raise a metaphoric glass (hey, it's not even 1 p.m. here in France) and toast to Anne and Brian's four wonderful years of marriage. May there be many, many more memories made, happiness had, babies born (Ellie needs a brother or sister), and love shared.
